Towing and road service
We highly recommend that motorcyclist and scooter owners ask their insurance companies if they offer road service as an add-on in their policies. Another excellent option is AMA membership, which offers free road service if you sign up for a basic membership with auto-renew by credit card. Some manufacturers may have clubs which offer road service as well. Many shops offer towing but most only during business hours. Visit our Shops page to find one near you. Fabrication and maintenance
As hands-on work disappears to outlying areas and overseas, it has become increasingly difficult to find many kinds of shop services in NYC. More and more people find themselves resorting to mail order, but there is still hope here. Some NYMSTF members have reported positive experiences with the business listed below.*

Places in NYC and the immediate vicinity where motorcycle and/or scooter riders get together on a weekly basis. Turnouts vary greatly; typically season and weather dependent!
